“Waiting” is the new single from Moldovan artist Mark Stam.
The track speaks about a boy in love, a boy who lived an impossible love throughout his adolescence, because, as Mark says: “It’s said that true love starts when it ends, but along the years, the track’s hero keeps searching for her and waits for her where time meets, where clock pointers are just simple pointers”.
Mark Stam or Marius Stamatin, as he is known by his family and friends, is a singer, writer and dancer from the Republic of Moldova. He participated in 2013 at “Moldova Got Talent” show. A natural born superstar, Mark Stam has taken the Romanian music scene by surprise starting his musical project in 2017. His hit single “Impar” scored top positions in several Romanian charts such as #1 Shazam Romania, #2 Romania Radio Chart and #1 Romania TV Chart for months on row. On Youtube, the track had more than 18 million views. Mark performed all around the country and delighted the fans with his charismatic personality and energetic performances.
With number one hits, collaborations and projects with some of the most relevant artists, magazine covers, a very busy concert agenda and a growing fan base, Mark is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. Mark showed special interest in music at an early age, and learned to play guitar and piano by watching YouTube tutorials. In 2018, Stam was nominated in the Best Male Artist category at the Elle Style Awards România and also appeared on the Elle Man magazine cover for their November issue. He also posed for Cosmopolitan the same month. On 25 November 2018, his single “Impar” reached number one on Romania’s national Airplay 100 chart.
