Don’t be fulled by the glistening lull of Lo Moon’s music. The more you listen to the synth trio’s new self-titled debut, the grander the songs become. Spend some time with the videos for „Thorns“ and „Real Love,“ for proof. Having an ethereal piece carry genuine emotional weight is a neat trick, and it’s just one of the band’s many attractions. Matt, Sam and Crisanta stopped in to fill us in on their creative process, and along the way they managed to paint some credible portraits of each other.
