In the end of 2011 DJ Happy Vibes already got the idea to create a dancefloor version from the legendary track „Three Hazelnuts“.
As a citizen of Dresden he is loving the old and famous „DEFA“ fairytale movies, where this special song is often used as soundtrack. In the beginning of 2012 the creation was done and DJ Happy Vibes provided the track with own verses. Unfortunately the original composer Karel Svoboda declined his approval without giving any reasons, so the track have been recomposed by DJ Happy Vibes to prevent copyright violation.
Initially it was also intended to make a music video at original locations from the „DEFA“ fairytale, but also this request was rejected. Finally the music video was produced at the romantic castle of Seifersdorf. Of course DJ Happy Vibes represents the king while singer Jazzmin slips into the role of the princess.
„Three Hazelnuts“ is taken from DJ Happy Vibes‘ 6th album. In addition to the music video the maxi-single contains an extended and a radio version in german as well as in english language.
