rn in Palestine, raised in Ottawa, and now living in L.A., Belly is a citizen of the world. He’s been a force in hip-hop since the 2007 arrival “Pressure” and his ‘Death Before Dishonor’ mixtape series. His latest video is “Come Down Is Real,” from last year’s ‘Up For Days’ album. He’s also earned lots of prop for his writing/producing skills. He’s helped out on Beyoncé’s “6 Inch” from Lemonade and clocked credits on The Weeknd’s ‘Beauty Behind the Madness.’ He arrived at Vevo ready to speak on anything, but ‘The World According To Belly’ focuses on a few key subjects. Don’t miss hearing about his love of animals, how his parents raised him to avoid prejudice, date nights at the strip club, and why Los Angeles rules. He does a pretty good ‘Braveheart’ imitation, too.
